The book of Acts tells the story of the work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of ordinary people to unleash the church to the world. As the Holy Spirit moves, the Roman world is rocked by the spread of the gospel of Jesus that unifies people separated by culture, race, gender, religion, and social standing. Acts is the story of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, building the church and expanding the Kingdom person by person and city after city.
El libro de Hechos nos dice la historia de la obra del Espíritu Santo en las vidas de gente común para desatar la iglesia al mundo. A medida que el Espíritu Santo se mueve, el mundo romano es sacudido por la difusión del evangelio de Jesús que une a las personas separadas por la cultura, la raza, el género, la religión y la posición social. Malachi is the story of the last message of the Old Testament. In four short chapters, Malachi covers themes of love, empty religion, greed, relationships, justice, apathy, and salvation. Malachi is the last message the world receives before the birth of Jesus.
Malachi is the last message before 400 years of darkness. Malachi ultimately points us to Jesus, the Light of the World, who breaks the darkness and brings us hope.
Malaquías es la historia del último mensaje de el Antiguo Testamento. En cuatro capítulos cortos, Malaquías cubre temas de amor, religión vacía, codicia, relaciones, justicia, apatía, y salvación. Malaquías es el último mensaje que el mundo recibe antes del nacimiento de Jesús.
Malaquías es el último mensaje antes de 400 años de obscuridad. Ultimadamente, Malaquías nos señala a Jesús, la Luz del Mundo, quien rompe la obscuridad y nos trae esperanza.
Can I trust you? We ask this basic question multiple times every day. We trust in the people who designed the car we drive. We trust in the people who built the home we live in or the chair we are sitting in. We trust doctors, teachers, and others in authority every day. “Trust is the fuel for all of life,” according to Dr. Henry Cloud.
¿Puedo confiar en ti? Hacemos esta pregunta básica varias veces cada día. Confiamos en las personas que diseñaron el carro que manejamos. Confiamos en las personas que construyeron el hogar donde vivimos o la silla donde nos sentamos. Confiamos en los doctores, maestros, y otros con autoridad cada día. “La confianza es el combustible para toda la vida,” de acuerdo a Dr. Henry Cloud.
What happens when trust is broken in our society, in our families, and in our relationships? What impact does our lack of trust have on our relationship to God? Through this series we will ask three basic questions: Can I trust? Can I be trusted? Can I trust God? Beginning in Proverbs 3:5-6, walk with us as we look to Bible for answers to these important questions.
